MIN – Art Reborn 100 Mannequins and Artists Costume Ball

Thanks to the Dan and Trudy Regan Foundation I participated in Art Reborn 100 Mannequins in October 21 and 2024’s Artist Costume Ball.

Art Reborn was a post pandemic reopening opportunity for artists to re-enter a public space. Starting with a bland mannequin, I painted and incorporated photographs to create Min, Our Mothers, Our Selves. Many thanks to friends and family who provided photographs.

2024 brought a new Manni project. Lefty had two left hands but also a slant toward progressive politics and vote blue. As it was an Artist Costume Ball, the artists were asked to dress in a similar manner to their mannequins.
